An L-C Resonance Calculator is a tool used to find the resonant frequency of an LC circuit — an electrical circuit consisting of an inductor (L) and a capacitor (C) connected together. This circuit resonates at a particular frequency where the reactance of the inductor cancels out the reactance of the capacitor, and energy oscillates between the inductor's magnetic field and the capacitor's electric field.

The formula for resonant frequency ( f0) in an LC circuit is:

Where:

f0 = Resonant frequency (in Hertz, Hz)
L = Inductance (in Henries, H)
C = Capacitance (in Farads, F)
π ≈ 3.14159
At the resonant frequency:

Impedance is purely resistive (reactance is zero).
Current and voltage are in phase.
Energy alternates between the capacitor and inductor.
An L-C Resonance Calculator usually requires you to input the values of L and C and then it computes the resonant frequency. Some advanced versions may also calculate things like angular frequency (ω0=2πf0) and reactance at resonance.
