In set theory, the union of a set of sets is the set consisting of all the elements of these sets, and contains no other elements.
For two given sets A and B, the set consisting of all elements belonging to set A or set B (the set consisting of all elements of the two sets added together) is called the union, denoted by A∪B, read as "A and B". In symbols, that is: A∪B={xIx∈A or x∈B}
