Horizontal displacement calculator for projectile motion
An object is thrown horizontally with a certain initial velocity. If the object is only affected by gravity, such motion is called horizontal motion. Horizontal motion can be regarded as the combined motion of uniform linear motion in the horizontal direction and free fall motion in the vertical direction. For an object in horizontal motion, since the combined external force it receives is a constant force, the horizontal motion is a uniformly accelerated curvilinear motion, and the motion trajectory of the horizontal object is a parabola. Horizontal motion is a curvilinear motion. The time of horizontal motion is only related to the vertical height of the throwing point; the horizontal displacement of the object landing is related to time (vertical height) and horizontal initial velocity.
Horizontal displacement of horizontal motion: Δx = Vx0t
Δx = horizontal displacement
Vx0 = initial velocity
t = time
