What is a right triangle?  A triangle that has one angle at 90 degrees is called a right-angled triangle. The side that is opposite the right angle (90 degrees) is called hypotenuse and the other two are the adjacent and the opposite sides.
The three sides of a right triangle are usually referred to by variables commonly c for hypotenuse and a and b for the other sides.
